This has left me shocked, confused, speechless and ashamed. Ashamed that I complain about what now seem to be very trivial things in my life. The courage of this man can not be measured on any scale that the human race has devised.

These are the things men do to one another, and in the name of mercy are forgiven. So, one should ask: are they necessary in order for mercy to have a face, or is mercy just another way of denying reality? Or, is mercy, and cruelty the Janus face of humanity? If so, all is well, and perfect. There are no crimes, only life moving through time. Our judgment of events create the good and bad of things.
