Saturday.

Our forecast was calling for rain today but the sun was shining most of the day so we decided to get out of the house for a while.  We took the dog with and stopped at a local trail on the way home to get her out on a walk.  Here are a few pictures of Sooke basin, from The Galloping Goose trail.

What an absolute shame that a piece of automotive art such as this Mercedes is left to rot in a salvage yard. Actually it is quite hard to believe. Anyone out there with enough chutzpah to try to buy it from the salvage yard and restore it to its' former glory? I would, if I won the lottery.

2011 was a year of stability in our house. I am hoping 2012 is at least the same.
